Balmain choose Calabash to clean their first flagship store outside Paris

The brand’s new London store is based on South Audley Street, Mayfair, next to Mount Street’s recent arrivals Christopher Kane and Céline.

This luxurious atelier features design work from French architect Joseph Dirand, who sought to transform the space into a contemporary Parisian townhouse. The store is mainly grey and beige with geometric stone flooring, glass mirrors, marble fireplaces, high ceilings and ornate fixtures – bringing out the luxurious side of the Balmain brand.

“Balmain has a particularly strong and loyal clientele in the English capital and we’re very happy to be able to offer them this first London flagship. South Audley Street is definitely a new shopping destination in London and Balmain is pleased to be one the first houses to settle there.” Emmanuel Diemoz, the company’s CEO told UK’s edition of Vogue.

“I think the store has really stayed true to the Balmain basics; the luxury and quality but at the same time it has a British feeling. Like the Parisian store, it very much keeps the French touch, but it also has a London feel.” Olivier Rousteing, Balmain’s creative director.

The store carries the brand’s full range of womenswear and menswear, bags, shoes, accessories and fragrance lines.

Calabash look after the detailed store cleaning (six days a week) plus window cleaning, waste collection/recycling and washroom hygiene services.

Calabash are obviously thrilled to have been recommended to Balmain as the company to assist them with their wonderful new flagship store in Mayfair.

Julian Hill, Chairman, Calabash Group

We are proud to have the opportunity to assist another luxury brand, particularly in South Audley Street (a growing retail location) to expand their reputation in London.
